the law if you are under 18 years old, and you are skating, A Basic Lesson/Adults Introduction Kidz In-line Skating Program, Cupertino Parks and Recreation Department monthly. Ages 6 to 10 years old.:
Schedule Advanced registration is required. Contact the Recreation Department directly. Class LocationCupertino Parks
and Recreation HELMETS (a bike helmet is OK) AND PADS ARE MANDATORY IN ALL CLASSES.
Advanced registration is required. Bring a water bottle since we will not be near a water fountain. HELMETS (a bike helmet is OK), skates AND PADS ARE MANDATORY. A Basic Lesson/Adult Introduction consists of the following topics: I am a Level 3 International Inline Skating Association, IISA, Certified Instructor. I can teach any place that is flat, safe and smooth and has a grassy area adjacent. The place I use most often is Lincoln School, when school is not in session, 21710 McClellan Rd., Cupertino, Map. A lesson runs from 60 to 90 minutes. The number of lessons depends on your skating experience. I have found that most people who have skated before only need one lesson. Lessons can be from one to six people. HELMETS (a bike helmet is OK) AND PADS ARE MANDATORY, don't ask for my "no helmet" horror stories, you don't want to hear them. Please don't ever skate without a helmet. RENTALS - Skates can be rented at Black Diamond Sports in Palo Alto, 650-289-0900. I do have some skates available for loan for a lesson if you just wan tot try it out. The cost for a 90 minute Private Lesson is $50. If you have some friends who would like to join you for a private lesson it would be an additional $25 per person up to six people. Add $10 if you would like me to provide the equipment. My schedule is very flexible. Background information
can be found here or Cheers! PHIL |
