  1/25 - Thursday Robert Burns' Birthday - Burns Night Celebrations
  2/9 - Friday Memorial Service for Sgt. William Sigua, of Los Altos Hills, an Army infantry squad leader who was recently killed in action, in Iraq.  Public memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., we play from 3:15 to 3:30 PM and at the end. Location: Crown Plaza Cabana Hotel, in Palo Alto (on El Camino about a half mile north of San Antino Road). Meet at 2:00 PM at hotel, most likely in parking lot in back or a room set aside for us, no police shirts, no hair sporrans, black jacket and black tie.
  2/11 - Sunday St. Andrew's Church Celtic Sunday Celebration - St Andrew's Episcopal Church, 13601 Saratoga Ave., (at Fruitvale Ave.) Saratoga, CA, across from the Saratoga Library. Meet at 9:00 AM to play at 10:00 AM, long sleeve shirts, ties and hair sporrans.
  2/13 - Tuesday National Major Chiefs of Police Dinner - The Tech Museum, San Jose, play from 6:10 to 6:30 PM. It is a small reception, 40 chiefs from major cities from across the US and Canada, and they said there will be food. They would like 4 to 6 pipers and some drummers. Long sleeve shirts, hair sporrans adn tie. Meet at 5:00 pm at the Tech Mesum. Contacy Jay.

  3/15 - Thursday Rod Stewart Concert at HP Pavilion - Mini band for the opening of the Rod Stewart Concert. We play on the concourse from 7:00 to 7:20 PM and on the arena floor from 7:40 to 8:00 PM. Meet at HP Pavilion at 5:45 at the rear loading ramp to be escorted to our dressing room. We are now rock stars.

St. Patrick's DayIrish Flag

San Pedro Square, three pubs. Since it is a Saturday we will start early, 4 to 7 PM. Should be another great party. Form up at 3 PM at San Pedro St. and St. John St., sweat shirts tucked in (t-shirt underneath in case it is really mild), leather sporran. Free parking in garage. They hope for more families since it is a Saturday.
Six band members will finish up at Hannegan's Party in Los Gatos for food and drink Jay has details.

  4/7 - Saturday Redwood City Parade 7th Annual Bunnies and Bonnets Parade in Campbell. This is that fun little, 4 blocks, parade we do for our neighbors. It is so short we march through twice, we lead and close the parade. Join the fun again this year. No vehicles to keep up with, no marshals and no reviewing stand, we go as slow as we want. Meet at East Campbell Avenue and the RR tracks at 11:00 AM, march off at noon. Short sleeve shirt, black t-shirt and no tie. Jay has details.
  4/10 - Tuesday Santa Clara County Building Celebration of Tartan Day, 70 West Hedding, volunteers, play at 11:30 AM, tune up at 10:30 AM. See Jay for details and parking passes.

Service at Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose, Band Oak, we start with Veteran's Service at 11:00 AM. We finish at 1:00 PM, arrive 10:00 AM.

  6/2 - Saturday City of Piedmont Tattoo - In commemoration of their Centennial. Piedmont has a long history of bag piping and as such, it has been suggested that an exhibition for pipe bands be held as a main feature of that celebration. Piedmont High School at 11:00 AM, we play one set and then participate in the massed bands.

From 280 go south on 87 and get off first exit Alma Ave. Turn left on Alma which ends at Kelly Park, Senter Rd. Go right on Senter and left on Phelan Ave. at end of park. Parking lot is down the hill at the end of the road, tell them you are with the band.

This is how we say thank you to the Los Gatos - Monte Sereno Police and the Town of Los Gatos for all their support. Starts at Almendra Avenue and North Santa Cruz Avenue to the Civic Center on West Main Street. Assemble 9:30 am in the parking lot behind the Los Gatos Brewery. We are unit #??.

  12/2 - Sunday San Jose Christmas Parade

Los Gatos Parade
San Jose Christmas Parade - Report time is 7:30 AM to the Blue area at Delmas Ave. and Santa Clara Street, near the HP Pavilion. Park in a downtown garage.

The parade will step off on Santa Clara Street and Delmas Avenue at 8:30 AM. We are unit #?? out of ?? entries. The parade is televised live starting at 9:00 AM on NBC Channel 11. The parade proceeding east on Santa Clara Street. It will turn right on Market Street marching south past Plaza De Cesar Chavez and ending at San Carlos Street. Same route as the Veteran's Day Parade.
